An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is an inspection of a property's fixed wiring, consumer unit, sockets, and circuits carried out by a qualified electrician. Since June 2020, it has been a legal requirement under The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 for every landlord in England to have a valid EICR for each rental property.
